This position relates to products in the Polyurethane Slab Stock Market. The Application Development Engineer (ADE) must provide the technical expertise required to develop new businesses for existing and new Polyurethane Additives products. The ADE must understand customer requirements, build long term relationships, and provide technical solutions in slab stock foam applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Contact: Maintain regular contact with Slab Stock Foam Urethane Additives customers and resolve technical queries. Suggest best practices for product use and introduce customers to existing and new polyurethane products.
- Application Lab Functions: Performing required tasks in the Application Lab and delivering solutions as per the client’s requirements.
- New Business Opportunities: Identify new business opportunities in collaboration with Marketing, Commercial functions and R&D Manager.
- Technical Training: Providing regular technical training on product advantages to sales and distributors.
- Safety Standards: Implementing high safety standards in lab activities and complying with EHS regulations.
- Customer Complaint Resolution: Working on RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Actions) for customer complaints.
Ability:
- Educational Qualification: MSc./MTech (in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering)
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in polyurethane foam production, especially in technical roles in the production of slab stock, lamination and box foam.
